Over the last few years the use of composite resin restorations has increased exponentially. Being under years of service, restorations are subjected to various chemical and mechanical degradation factors. A simplified approach in repairing such degraded restorations would be a wise choice, whereby saving the sound tooth structure from additional trauma subsequent to removal of the old restoration and maintaining tooth strength by minimizing cavity preparation.

Autor

I have obtained my MSc in dental biomaterials (Nov 2007) from University of the Western Cape in South Africa, and a Bachelor in Dental Science (Dec 2003) from University of Khartoum in Sudan. Presently, I am a lecturer and clinical instructor in Qassim University in Saudi Arabia.
