The bony structures of the orbit or the bony cavity that contains the eyeball and its muscles, nerves, and blood vessels, as well as the structures that produce and drain tears, protrude beyond the surface of the eye. They protect the eye while allowing it to move freely in a wide arc. The orbit is the bony cavity in the skull that houses the globe of the eyeball. In this review, I wish the readers to understand the structure and anatomy of the orbit, its fractures, diagnosis the right time to treat it and also I have included various biomaterials for the reconstruction of the orbit.
