I am a researcher, writer and speaker at workshops, local and international conferences. Apart from my love for Economics, I have a strong passion for Cultural and linguistic studies. It is for this reason that last year December, my research paper titled "A Discussion on how Culture is Interrelated with Language" was selected for presentation in an International Conference on the Emerging Trends in Engineering, Sciences and Management held in Nandyal, India. I was also privileged to chair some presentation sessions in the English track. In addition to that, i got the best paper award in the English track of the conference. Furthermore, last year August, i presented a paper titled, "The Impact of Modernization on the Bemba Marriage Rituals and Practices," in an International Multi-disciplinary Conference in Lusaka, under the theme "pursuing innovation frontiers for contemporary global knowledge citizenship." I was then given a paper publication award by the Zambia research development center for my research. Lastly, the most inspiring piece of advice I've gotten is simply to persevere, believe in oneself, take on life's challenges and dig deeper within oneself to conquer fear.
