"This is essential reading for those of us who care deeply about providing culturally relevant sex therapy to marginalized peoples. The collection of expert authors offer personal and professional reflections that give the reader insight, interventions and a road map for working with specific populations. If you are ready to incorporate fresh ideas into your therapy practice, an educator looking for a handy resource, or a graduate student looking for more nuance than traditional sexuality theory, this is the book you've been waiting for."

"What's captivating about this clinical compendium put together by BIPOC therapists is that it provides nuanced and focused therapeutic interventions that promotes healing and empowerment for people who have been traditionally marginalized or underserved. The case studies in each chapter provide excellent examples for how to effectively engage clients and their individual and systemic challenges that impact growth, happiness, and healthy sexual functioning. This is a must read for all mental and relational health professionals."
