Dr. Hynd Kaid Slimane-Mahdad holds a PhD in sociolinguistics from the university of Tlemcen. She is now a senior lecturer at Belhadj Bouchaib University of Ain Temouchent. Her main research interests turn around sociolinguistics, research methodology and didactics. She had also taught English for almost twenty years in High School.
