The resolution of Côte d'Ivoire's traumatic post- election standoff did not mean the end to the country's troubles, however, if Côte d'Ivoire is to achieve stability, it must address crisis that has festered for more than a decade. The roots, consequences and implications of Côte d'Ivoire crisis stem from an explosive mix of ethnic, religious and land rivalries that had led to division of the country. The aim of the study was to investigate the key factors causing instabilities in African countries. In order to achieve the aim, the study assessed the effectiveness of the African countries governance management, citizenship recognition management, culture management and natural resources management practices that lead to African countries stabilities.
