They are another view of insight into the wonder of just being alive, full of emotions, illustrating the glorious taste of life's challenges, which God provides each of us. This old Texan hopes that the serious reader has enjoyed the thoughts, emotions, and observations made in each of his poems. They are not meant to be on the level of the great poets, but still hoped to be thoughtful by conveying it's meaning to each reader. Just remember, poetry, can be one of God's greatest gifts to you, just as His love for you is. May you have a healthy, full, meaningful life filled with love for all and look forward always. Roy Buford Jackson was born, raised, and educated in the capitol city of, Austin, Texas. Roy received his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas in Austin and his masters degree from The University of Texas in Arlington. He had a long career in engineering with major companies (35 years), followed by becoming a system/software contractor (20 years). Roy was well known for producing logical focused solutions to major efforts in commercial and military projects. This included communications, aircraft, weapons, defense systems, and in other project areas as well. Roy's s marriage (53 years) developed in him a deep spiritual, poetic view, with eternal love for his wonderful talented wife (Laura Jo Holley Jackson, now in God's hands), and the family she produced for him (Roy James, Lisa, Mark, and Luke).
