Virginia Hansen's unique stories are based on true events. The last twenty years, she has been a teacher in the Sacramento area. Her goal in writing is to help children deal with their difficulties by telling stories through the eyes and hearts of animals. In her experience, she finds children relate to stories where animals are the characters. Her humorous illustrations and events in the life of Cuddles make this story, An Unusual Friendship, fun and engaging to children. Virginia is an active member of storytelling groups in the Sacramento area. She is a lover of children, teaching, storytelling, and animals. Virginia would like to dedicate this book to her students at Hubert Bancroft School in Sacramento. They inspire her to follow her dreams and never give up hope.
