There are three types of anaemia which are microcytic and hypochromic anaemia, normocytic and normochromic anaemia and macrocytic anaemia. This cross sectional study was performed to study anaemia among students of degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) in MARA University of Technology (UiTM), Puncak Alam Selangor, Malaysia. Blood samples collected in 5 ml EDTA tubes were analysed for haematological parameters. A total of 162 samples were analysed for this study. Twenty-two (13.58%) students had anaemia in which fifteen (9.26%) showed microcytic hypochromic red cell indices and another seven (4.32%) showed normocytic normochromic anaemia indices. None of the students had macrocytic anaemia indices. This study provided the evidence of anaemia among MLT's students in UiTM Puncak Alam, Selangor , Malaysia.
