Carol Crowe, Anahareo's niece, is the founder and President of Indigenous Visions Inc. which delivers an array of Environmental training programs and provides land consulting services. George Hartlen is the Chief Administrative Officer for Friends of Riding Mountain National Park, a volunteer, non-profit, charitable organization that has worked with Riding Mountain National Park since 1987. Anne Nesbitt is a playwright and author who has worked on numerous projects with Friends of Riding Mountain National Park. Carla Joseph, the illustrator, is a Cree artist from Prince George, B.C. She won the Prince George Art Battle in 2016 and 2018. Translation and Indigenous Teachings are by Dennis and Elaine Mckay, Anishinabe elders, Rolling River First Nation.
