At the end of the Çanakkale Battles, the combined fleet and ground troops equipped with the most modern weapons of the time came to a heavy defeat against the Turkish soldiers and had to withdraw from the Gallipoli peninsula.

¿lker Keçetep est né le 30 décembre, fils unique de Nejat et Nesrin Keçetep. Il est titulaire d'une licence de l'université Hacettepe en traduction et interprétation de l'anglais, d'une maîtrise de l'université de Kassel (Allemagne) en recherche et développement de l'enseignement supérieur et d'un doctorat de l'université Hacettepe sur les principes d'Atatürk et l'histoire de la révolution turque.
