The proposed device has been implemented in Cadence AMS 180 nm CMOS technology. Glucometer interface comprises of Transimpedance Amplifier (TIA), Instrumentation Amplifier(IA), RC filter. Our job is to design the analog block in the interface circuit. The basic block in the design is Operational amplifier which provides gain of 70dB with phase margin of 56 deg and gain bandwidth product of 33MHz. It is used in design of further stages. The work outlined in this project is towards developing a portable, economy blood glucose meter for self-monitoring of blood glucose, which has high performance with multifunction. The developed system prompts diabetics to measure their blood glucose regularly at home, and provides remote caregivers with complete patient information for diagnosis and tracking. This aids in the improvement in diabetes control.
