Wireless Communication has revolutionized network operations in today's world. Smart healthcare devices, mobile phones and tablets have impacted every person's life. Ubiquitous computing allows great flexibility to users of these gadgets. Due to this ever-growing size of wireless networks there are different optimization parameters which need to be focused upon; also wireless nodes have been equipped with limited battery power. Energy of nodes is a vital parameter for long sustainability of the network. In this thesis parameters related to energy have been emphasized along with considering various other losses associated with wireless links.
