In order to contribute to a much healthier analysis of credit risk, we identified the problems caused by a deficiency in the analysis of credit risk at BOA. We then looked for causes related to these problems and formulated hypotheses. We also collected information through a questionnaire that we distributed to risk staff and individual clients who had taken out loans. The results of the questionnaire were tabulated and then processed to establish a diagnosis to verify the hypotheses previously formulated. Thus, the slowness observed during the establishment of credit is negatively influenced by the internal process of granting credit, the phenomenon of detour of the purpose of the credit is a cause of non-compliance with client commitments. All these different stages have been explained in this document.
