This text is a study that explored teachers questioning techniques during chemistry teaching at Advanced level secondary schools. The general aim of the study was to investigate the extent to which teachers questioning techniques and the way they handled students responses facilitated students learning and also promoted their thinking skills. However, the text also is enriched with theoretical perspectives of classification of questions, how to ask questions, how to respond towards students questions, The role of questions and problems with questions and questioning behavior. Thus, the monograph may be useful for various education stakeholders whose day to day activities are class room teaching, preparation of educational study materials, planning for teaching and setting questions for tests, examinations or developing lessons.
