The objective of this title work is to contribute to the systematization of the decision making process in the Chilean venture capital industry, through the identification of determinants of performance of startups in early stages of development, by means of econometric analysis. An application of the results of this analysis is shown through a Monte Carlo-Balanced Scorecard type ranking model with applications in project selection.

Este estudo foi desenvolvido durante o ano de 2016 por David Israel, na altura estudante na Universidade do Chile, como dissertação para a sua licenciatura em Engenharia Civil Industrial.
