In Niger, gender-based violence (GBV) is a phenomenon that is becoming increasingly widespread in the various regions. As a result, despite the government's efforts, GBV continues to claim victims. Faced with the scale of the phenomenon and its consequences, the government and its partners are mobilizing. This research work focuses on the contribution of the NGO SongES Niger, through the strategy of the "Ecoles des Maris" project, to the fight against GBV in the villages of Sona and Kokomani (Commune of Kourthéye, Tillabéry Region).
