Mangrove resources of indigenous population are gradually diminishing due to commercial exploitation. The ecological status of the mangrove vegetation is estimated based on their Diversity, Status, Species Dominance, IVI, MIV, SI, CD, Shannon- Weiner & Simpson Indices and Analysis of variance (ANOVA).
