The royal kings also have the responsibility of ensuring that the idioms are kept for all ages. Music in the royal courts are used in worship, entertainment, information and games in the courts. Although there may not exist a formal theater in these royal courts where musical practices are displayed, nevertheless, they are never short of performance space.

Studied music in Obafemi Awolowo University Nigeria. He specialized in performance in his B.A He bagged his M.A Music, (Ethnomusicology) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Music from the same institution. He has committed his research time in the study the music of the Yoruba of western Nigeria.
