Genre analysis could be assumed as a useful way to guide researchers with different aspects of writing. This issue has been a crucial point in English as specific purposes. Previously conducted studies have been reported on the research articles (RA) Introduction sections, the results section in sociology RAs, the discussion section in sociology, political science and history RAs, the schematic structure of literature reviews and academic spoken discourse. The goal of this study is to analyze research articles in two sections including RAs abstracts and introductions in Artificial intelligence and Electronic commerce based on Swales' (1990;2004) CARS models of introduction and Hyland's (2000) model of abstract.
