In order to promote the purposes of the policy of internationalization of the Open and Distance National University of Colombia, related to curricular internationalization, cross-border interaction, knowledge management and multiculturalism, a transversal element was considered to facilitate the insertion of the institution's higher education into a globalized environment: Bilingualism. Therefore this analysis of a Placement Test applied on the academic and administrative staff was carried out in order to facilitate access to the knowledge society, overcoming language barriers and ensuring the international excellence of academic programs and the impact of its graduates locally.
