The aim of this study is to make contrastive study of the Standard Bengali Language (SBL) and the dialect at all these levels in order to establish the degree of their variance. International phonetic transcription has been used to provide the correct pronunciation of the Bengali sounds, words and sentences. The analysis should help the researchers especially young linguists who have fascination to analyze the dialect mainly Bengali dialect. This work will encourage & help them how to analyze a dialect on the aspect of field linguistics. The book provides a new metric of success forlinguists and non-linguists and should be especially useful to professionals in the fields of language and linguistics or anyone else who may consider utilizing dialect for language efforts
