This research proposes to analyze the evaluative criteria in the context of oral skills in the development of professional practice, with a sample of 301 students in the sixth semester of the Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at the Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana and the ninth semester of the Business Administration program at the Universidad Santo Tomás de Bogotá, through a qualitative descriptive methodology. For this purpose, a characterization phase was carried out in order to identify relevant information of processes aligned to the topic, which served as support for the realization of a diagnosis that led to the application of instruments that allowed synthesizing the results through the Dashboard platform, which generated accurate figures, supporting the identification of causes and consequences related to oral expression, in this way it was proposed to consolidate a strategy with the elements of Bygate (1987) for the improvement of oral expression in university students.
