This book brings together some of the works written about activities produced in reading and textual production workshops experienced by public school vocational high school students, created in Portuguese language and writing classes, with the aim of encouraging students to become critical readers, making them realize that language is an instrument of social interaction capable of constructing and transforming their reality in the various social and cultural contexts in which they live. The language workshops were planned based on a survey of the numerous reading and writing difficulties faced by the students involved in the teaching-learning process. By approaching some types of textual genres, the students produced a series of works based on research, debates, conversation circles, consultations, discourse construction, digital media and technological resources; always based on reading and reflection for the production of multimodal texts in a virtual environment.
