Hana K. Ali se graduó en la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad de Bagdad (Irak) en 1999 y obtuvo un máster en Anatomía e Histología en la misma facultad en 2015. Actualmente trabaja como profesora adjunta en la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad de Diyala (Irak). Está casada y tiene cuatro hijos.
