Darick "DDS" Spears (b. February 18, 1982 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American artist, music producer, entrepreneur, filmmaker and audio engineer known for his 2014 album "The World is Yourz" and his short film "A Look Beyond The Prison Walls"and Author of Amazon Bestseller "The Diary of a Stay-at-Home Dad: My Journal Behind Bars." Darick Spears was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he developed an interest in music at a very young age, inspired by the "park jams packed with hype listeners, while the dj and the emcee works the crowd". Darick started playing drums and piano in church and he was writing raps and poetry by the time he was eighteen. After graduating from Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin, he attended Marquette University in Milwaukee where he graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Minor in Business. He later attended Columbia College to pursue a Master's degree in Music, and Madison Media where he earned an Associates Degree in Recording and Video Technology.
