Every time toddler Andrew walks into his bedroom, something else has disappeared into packing boxes as his family prepares to move. Distraught, he calls his grandmother in tears to tell her what is happening and to let her know that he is not liking it very much. She reassures him that everything will turn out all right, and that his precious possessions will arrive at the new house, "Absolutely, rootly, tootly, kazootly!" And she's right! On moving day, even the little mouse who appears throughout the book finds that all the boxes have arrived. Andrew is delighted as he unpacks his books, and his bears, and his computer and puts them in his new room. Best of all, his very own bed is there, just waiting for his dad to put it together, and his mom puts up his new curtains. Overjoyed, he calls his grandmother to report she was right and decides that his new bedroom is the best--"Absolutely, rootly, tootly, kazootly!"
