Research supports picture books on health to help prepare children (and parents) for what to expect. Katina's goal for the Nurse Nee Nee Series is to be an educational and comforting resource for families. She wants to improve health literacy anywhere books may land in the hands of children and advocate for this vulnerable population's safety.
