Ian J. Kennedy started working with Computers when at school, but was advised there was no future in it, so studied Materials Technology at University. After initially working in an Inspection Laboratory, he switched disciplines to Computer Science, progressing from PC support to Systems Administrator. It became obvious in the process that most computers had a sense of humour. How else do you explain the fact that he and the end users could do the same things, but get different results? Time's Winged Chariot is his first book.
