Autorenporträt
Burak Dönerkan is a Turkish author and aviation expert with over two decades of writing experience. Born in Istanbul in 1984, his journey into storytelling began at an early age when he interned at the renowned 90s music magazine Blue Jean. His love for writing was further nurtured during his studies in Radio, Television, and Cinema at Trakya University, where he won the "Best Screenplay" award for his short film Three Elements.

Though his professional career took a turn into aviation, where he worked as a Station Chief for EgyptAir, Burak never strayed far from his passion for storytelling. His extensive travels and diverse life experiences became the foundation for his debut novel, Angels' Favorite Dream. The book explores themes of self-discovery, love, and adventure, drawing inspiration from the cultural richness of the places he has visited.

Currently residing in Manila, Philippines, with his wife and son, Burak is working on the second installment of his planned trilogy, Lips of a Liar. He hopes his stories inspire readers to embrace life's uncertainties and pursue their own journeys of self-discovery.
