Angels On Our Shoulders is a book about a young (age18) combat infantryman's up-close and personal experiences in the Viet Nam war as it raged on in 1969-1970. The book is filled with personal accounts of combat fire-fights in the jungle and countless night ambush patrols that often ended up in very close-quarter shoot-outs in the darkness of open rice-paddies.
