Autorenporträt
Marvin spent fourteen years as a psychotherapist focusing mainly on couple relationships and the struggles men have to be emotionally honest, aware, and present. He worked extensively with men in groups, and workshops around the country. Marvin has appeared on the Oprah show, ABC's 20/20 with Hugh Downs and Barbara Walters, PBS and BBC prime time specials, and has been featured in the New York Times Sunday Magazine. He also wrote the book Angry Men, Passive Men, published by Random House. He has had a life-long interest in emotional and psychological healing as a way to a deeper experience of intimacy, connection, and love. Far too many couples miss out on the incredible power, security, and inner joy that love can bring simply because their emotional baggage gets in the way. In his book, The Conscious Road Home, Marvin provides a healing path through the labyrinth of emotional wounds, confusion, hurt feelings, resentments, and distorted beliefs that plague troubled couples.
