Barbara Wilton lives on a rural property in Masterton, in the North Island of Aotearoa New Zealand. She is a retired tertiary education teacher, and also worked as a SPELD teacher, helping rural students with learning difficulties. Barbara and her husband have two adult children and two grandchildren.
