This publication includes reproductions of forty-three graphite pencil drawings created by visual artist Eugene James Martin (1938-2005) in 1977 and 1978 in Washington D.C. Martin referred to these drawings as "satirical abstracts". The accompanying quotes by Eugene Martin date from the mid-1970's.
