Dr. Trevor J. Buser is an Associate Dean at Naropa University and teaches coursework in the Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program. His research centers on cognitive predictors of nonsuicidal self-injury. He also brings a dedicated focus on addiction counseling and is former editor of the Journal of Addictions and Offender Counseling. Dr. Buser is a licensed professional counselor, certified school counselor, and approved clinical supervisor. He also served as President of IAAOC. > Dr. Rochelle Cade is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counselor Education at Sam Houston State University. Dr. Cade is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) whose clinical work is predominately in correctional settings. Dr. Cade is active in two American Counseling Association divisions, the International Association of Addictions and Offender Counselors (IAAOC) and the Association for Assessment and Research in Counseling (AARC). In IAAOC, Dr. Cade currently serves as President-Elect and Associate Editor of the Journal of Addictions and Offender Counseling. In AARC, she has served as Treasurer and is currently a member of the editorial board for one of the division journals, Counseling Outcome and Research Evaluation. At the state level, Dr. Cade serves as Past-President and Director of the Texas Association for Assessment and Research in Counseling (TAARC), a chartered state level division of AARC. She is also the Executive Editor of the Journal of Professional Counseling: Practice, Theory & Research, a publication of the Texas Counseling Association. > Dr. Dilani M. Perera is the Department Chair and a Full Professor of Counselor Education at Fairfield University. She is state licensed and nationally certified as a professional and addiction counselor. She has more than 40 publications in the areas of addiction, assessment, multicultural issues, and training of professional counselors and counselor educators. Dr. Perera serves as a reviewer for different counseling journals. Currently, she is the Assistant Editor for the Journal of Addictions and Offender Counseling and Annual Review. She is also the immediate past president of the Connecticut Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.
