Autorenporträt
Kim Ellis is an author and illustrator. She was born in and adopted from South Korea, then lived in Japan and various states across the U.S. as an Air Force brat. She is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she studied children's book illustration. She has published two children's books, "Butterflies for Rory" and "Zach's Family." She was voted Suffolk News Herald's "Best Local Author" for 2021 and 2022.She's been a homeschooling mom of 7 kids that range in age from 8 to 24. She lives in Suffolk, VA, with the man of her dreams, and 5 kids at home. When she's not writing or creating artwork, she enjoys reading, gardening, taking walks, stickers, going to the beach, and learning new vegan recipes.
