Closing the gender pay gap is an important step towards gender equality and does not only benefit the female workforce itself, but also companies and the economy as a whole.

Autorenporträt
Nach der Matura im Jahr 2014 begann Elisabeth Klemens an der Johannes Kepler Universität in Linz Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Bachelor / Schwerpunkte: Steuerrecht, Wirtschaftsprüfung und Controlling / Abschluss in 2017) sowie anschließend Steuerrecht und Steuermanagement (Master / Abschluss in 2020) zu studieren. Währenddessen sammelte Elisabeth Klemens erste Erfahrungen im Bereich der Steuerberatung (Praktika und Teilzeittätigkeit). Weiters war Elisabeth Klemens auch als Studienassistentin tätig. Aktuell ist Elisabeth Klemens im Bereich Internationales Steuerrecht / Transfer Pricing (Verrechnungspreise) in einer international tätigen Steuerberatungskanzlei tätig.
