Two young Englishmen, like millions of other people were sucked into a war they did not understand and one which changed their lives forever. In rebuilding their individual lives on the huge continent of Africa, Kenya and Zanzibar provided the backdrop for adventure, revenge and romance. From the grasslands of the Massai Mara to the timeless island of Zanzibar, their lives were linked by an ancient Totem which gave them a bond and a belief that they could survive where many had fallen.

George Gould is a proud Australian, born in Sydney to English and Welsh parents and has lived most of his life on the NSW Central Coast 90 km North of Sydney. Now a retired engineering business owner, he is married with a blended family of sons, in-laws and grandchildren. Travel in whatever form it takes has been and is a favourite pastime, whether it be the adventure of Africa, the history and culture of Europe and Canada, or exploring Australia by land or sea. Sailing with family throughout the Pacific and Indian Oceans, the Coral Sea and Barrier Reef, led to the relief care-taking of a lighthouse Island on the reef over some years. "Another Sunset" is a work of pure fiction contained within periods of significant history. Five years in the making with much advice and encouragement from my wife, family, and friends. My heartfelt thanks to them all.
