Paula Ford was born in Buenos Aires and is married to Gerardo Bartolomé. She's a Biologist and a member of the Argentine National Scientific and Technical Research Council, with numerous scientific papers to her name. Gerardo, also from Buenos Aires, is a Civil Engineer. Since 2005, he has authored several books on Argentina's history. In 2018, he founded Ediciones Históricas, an independent publishing company. Recently, Paula has taken on photography, and Gerardo continues to write. Together, they're publishing travel guides, sharing their country's knowledge with fellow travelers. This led to the creation of "Be There Guides," essential for those exploring the southern part of South America.
