The traditional knowledge of tribals was scientifically validated where investigation was undertaken to evaluate in vivo anthelmintic efficacy of Nigella sativa (Kaloji), Swertia chirata (Chirayata)and Piper longum (Pippali) on gastrointestinal nematodes in naturally infected goats.
