In continuing education and training, the main focus is on the research question of good teaching, successful continuing education and effective learning. An advisory and accompanying function in the teaching-learning process is useful and supportive in an expert teaching role. Empirical studies, research projects and meta-analyses provide reliable empirical findings on the effectiveness of measures in the areas of teaching, learning and advising. This is followed by questions and the implementation of concepts and models in the relevant educational areas of school pedagogy, university didactics and adult education.Teaching is a strenuous activity, teachers have to deal with different reactions despite the professionalism of learners. For this reason, forms of teaching and learning are essential with limited preparation time and difficult conditions in the individual areas of education, as professional health and job satisfaction must be guaranteed. In addition to our own teaching experience, the opinions of experienced teachers and subject didactics, the state of knowledge from international school performance studies and the training of teachers has changed considerably in recent decades.
