Anthropocentric and Biocentric Dimensions of Environmental Education in Brazil: The Experience of Public Schools in the Municipality of Sombrio. This work is the result of the researcher's questioning and helplessness in the face of the attitudes that human beings have adopted in their relationship with nature. A dominating/colonising attitude towards other living beings that are part of the environment. Our school education is too anthropocentric.
