Restif de la Bretonne (geboren 1734 in Sacy, gestorben 1806 in Paris) war ein französischer Schriftsteller. Der Verfasser vieler Sittenromane und Sozialutopien kann retrospektiv als Mitbegründer des Verismus und Naturalismus bezeichnet werden.
