For a specialized didactics of political education, special challenges arise in the prevention of anti-Semitism, because theoretical descriptions are supposed to show a recognition, fading out or criticism. What is sought and missed is a solution to the prevention of resentment. Neither knowledge nor education protects against it. One approach points to the importance of (self-) reflection, the context to knowledge is indispensable. Prerequisites and challenges for educational experiences, framework conditions and externally determined conditions with the possibility of independent educational experiences are to be discussed.
