Mohammad Raftari machte seinen Bachelor in Pflanzenpathologie und dann seinen Master in Lebensmittelsicherheit an der Universität von Putra Malaysia. Zurzeit studiert er an derselben Universität im Bereich Lebensmittelbiotechnologie/-sicherheit. Sein Interessengebiet ist die Anwendung der Molekularbiologie in der Lebensmittelindustrie.
