This book is title Antibiotic susceptibility pattern of selected strains of Staphylococcus aureus and their response to plasmid curing. It focuses on the possibilty of using plasmid curing response behaviour of Staphylococus aureus in the identification of their possible site of infection. This book take into consideration the possibilities of plasmid of certain characteristics being a product of the same source and hence uses their response to curing for explaining the route of infection of the bacteria from which they were isolated Antibiotic susceptibility pattern of Staphylococcus aureus…mehr

This book is title Antibiotic susceptibility pattern of selected strains of Staphylococcus aureus and their response to plasmid curing. It focuses on the possibilty of using plasmid curing response behaviour of Staphylococus aureus in the identification of their possible site of infection. This book take into consideration the possibilities of plasmid of certain characteristics being a product of the same source and hence uses their response to curing for explaining the route of infection of the bacteria from which they were isolated Antibiotic susceptibility pattern of Staphylococcus aureus and their pattern of resistance to drug. Resistant isolates were further tested to know if the basis of resistance was plasmid mediated or chromosomal borne. Strains with Plasmid borne resistance were then cured with a mutagen known as Sodium dodecyl sulphide. Antibiogram was then repeated so as to be able to establish the patttern of response toplasmid curing. Staph auureus used in the studywere from two possible infectiuous site which are wound and High Vaginal swab sample
