The book entitled Antioxidants as Metal Mitigator in Fish is an attempt to evaluate the ameliorative potential of certain antioxidants namely vitamin C, spirulina and garlic on tissue cadmium burden, cadmium induced histo-architectural and haematological changes in Clarias batrachus and observed that the addition of vitamin C exerted its remedial effect and resulted in minimizing the rate of accumulation of cadmium, histo-architectural and haematological changes in gills, liver and kidney at the most while spirulina stood at the second and the garlic third.
