Diagnosis of Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) depends on laboratory findings, such as detection of Lupus Anticoagulant (LAC) and anticardiolipin antibodies (ACLa). Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is the commonest pregnancy morbidity related to this condition. The syndrome is defined by the occurrence of venous and arterial thromboses and pregnancy morbidities, in the presence of anti phospholipid antibodies (aPA), namely LAC, ACLa and anti- 2 glycoprotein I ( 2GPI) antibodies.
