Mary Wright, author of the Anyone Can Play Piano series (books 1, 2, 3, and 4) and Anyone Can Play Piano Lesson Journals (books 1, 2, 3, and 4), holds three Texas lifetime teaching certificates in communication disorders, special education, and music K-12. A 1971 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, Wright is a music instructor in both the Suzuki and traditional methods. A mother of five and grandmother of (currently) nineteen, Wright is the accordionist in her popular eight-member family blue-grass band, the Fiddle Rascals (see Facebook), which specializes in old-time fiddling and vocals on favorite old tunes.
