Karaskov Alexander Mikhailovich - Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honoured Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, a practicing cardiac surgeon performing all types of cardiac and vascular surgeries, is the founder of the development and implementation of various technologies of aortic root reconstruction. He is the author of more than 800 publications, including 27 monographs.
